the meaningful life?
Oh man… doubt can really sneak up on you and it doesn’t care where you’re at or what it’s timing is. I think I’ve got it all figured out sometimes and the smallest thing can send you careening off course. Every so often it feels as if the planets have aligned to augment my life’s frustration.
In life I’ve set out to do plenty of things;but will I be blessed with the privilege of living a meaningful life? Am I destined to live this life as a number or just a blip in the Morse code of history? Why are we built with this need to feel significant? Am I just pursuing my goals to satisfy some chemical reaction in my brain that makes me feel fulfilled? Who really cares if I ever ‘win’ in the game of life; why should it matter? Why don’t I just live to do whatever’s easiest, or whatever’s most pleasurable? After all, don’t most people work hard now only to have things made easier down the road whenever their deferred benefit reaches them?
OK so I’m supposed to make the world a better place…but why? Is there some balance book in heaven that keeps track who gave and too took? I’ll never live in this better world I create…
I just have a tough time discovering meaning sometimes…I should be stronger than this.
Thank God for grace and ultimate significance through Him…or I might have zero hope of a meaningful life.

Justice From All
Why is it that age-old questions that have never been answered still grab your attention? What makes us think that, as individuals, we can possibly solve the unsolvable questions posed by centuries of geniuses and leagues of society’s-best? My guess is that it’s got to be a perfect blend of ignorance, creativity, tenacity, and knowledge with a pinch of overconfidence…
At lease one billion of the world’s populace is classified as “extremely impoverished” which means they are dying because they lack access to things the rest of the world forgets they even have; like clean water, food, penicillin, etc. Half of the world lives on $2 per day while I spend more than that on the “cheap coffee” with change I found between my couch cushions. Someone has to speak up for these people; just like so many organizations set out to accomplish, each individual has to do something. Real change has to be a cultural phenomenon that takes our planet by storm. There has to be a rising of people who care more about others than they do about themselves… Everyone must participate.
This is the purpose of I Am Justice - to use music and video to raise awareness of global hurt and inspire people (young people) to do something about it. Maybe we can spur the "2 Dollar Revolution" that changes history...either way, we're giving it a shot. Our EP is slated for release this spring, stay tuned.
